Greener
Climate change is the biggest threat to our existence, as Guildford's Member of Parliament, I am here to steer us into a greener future.
Tackling pollution and climate change
I am demanding water companies be held to account for polluting our rivers and waterways - something our government is failing to do. I have already met with Thames Water and I will continue to hold them to account in the coming months and years.
I am also challenging the Government on their decision to scrap the £2 bus fare cap, so vital for our local communities.
I am pushing for real reform of our railways, including on ensuring step free access for our rural stations. If we are serious about tackling climate change and promoting economic growth, we need to make our railways accessible and reliable for all.
Determined to see appropriate, future proof housing
I understand that people need housing, but I want to see all new builds being made future proof, environmentally sound and meet community needs, not just what developers want.
