Crisis Support: Mental Health Helplines & Resources

You and your family's mental health matters. Here are some ways you can get help and support.

Contact your GP or Care Coordinator if you have one. They are your first port of call if you are feeling worse, both physically and mentally, or if you feel you require medication or need to change your medication. Ask for an urgent/emergency appointment if necessary.

Surrey Heartlands Mental Health Support

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please telephone 0800 915 4644 (365 days a year, 24 hours a day).

If you have speech or hearing difficulties, you can contact the helpline through:

  • SMS 07717 989 024 (this service is only available to adults aged 18 years and over)
  • Relay UK service
  • Call 18001 0800 915 4644 from your text phone or smart app

Guildford Safe Haven

An evening and weekend drop-in service for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis or their carer.

Where: Oakleaf Enterprise, 101 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford, GU1 4UQ
When: 6-11pm every day, 365 days a year
Drop-in only (no phone line available) – no appointment needed.
